The sun is sweet with lemon yellow
squeezing each ray with hue
as we walk hand in hand together
sunshine draped with sapphire blue

Our footprints in the pebbled sand
may wash away with salty lotion
but our love will survive in the breeze
waltzing on the dance floor of the ocean

We wear coral rings of lobster pink
covered by soft sheets of white sands
making love, a treasure in my bed
I kiss the salt from your loving hands

The sweetness of our love is our potion
making love beneath coral reefs of the ocean

I could almost feel the sand between my toes, it seemed the feeling was just in between the words.  What a great feeling, Victoria!

Such stunning lines here...

The sun is sweet with lemon yellow
squeezing each ray with hue
as we walk hand in hand together
sunshine draped with sapphire blue
~
Our footprints in the pebbled sand
may wash away with salty lotion
~
making love, a treasure in my bed
I kiss the salt from your loving hands
~
The sweetness of our love is our potion

I know, I just recopied 90% of the poem, but
Victoria, this is marvelous! Thank you for the beautiful sentiment.
