Distorted illusion of love meant to be
turns into ashes of whats left of me.

Smallest of pieces, remnants of hope
dreams cracked in fragments, life's bitter joke.

Droplets of passion, staining my cheeks
flowing unchecked, no love to keep.

Yes Catalinamoon, that was really sad. Sometimes things really are just a fracture of what they could have been.

Sandra my friend....{{{HUGS}}} to you and many heartfelt aches.  The pain you feel is so evident and so powerful I can only remind you that the sun will shine in your heart once again.

The pain is so intense sometimes that it does seem that it has to be a joke.  Such sad emotion so beautifully expressed.  Great poem!
