each cabinet door opens
and closes in succession
hunger and dissatisfaction mounting
with each slamming door
hunger growls for something
that just isn't here
i am not sure what it is
but i'd recognize it if i saw it
of that i am sure
and i turn, wishing i could identify
this churning
this incessant impatience that is more
than hunger it is more
than a want, it is a buried deep
need and i can't put my finger on
what i am craving in my life
i only know that where i am now
it isn't it
i only know i must keep looking
for it lies
behind an unopened door

Corazon-Very lovely piece, as I search for those answers myself, you describe them fantastically.

Corazon, yet another uplifting one from you...I feel this way most times too...and then I think I've found it, and realize there's something else...keep on going!!!

Even though I don't always find what I'm looking for, I often find some great surprises when I start opening all those doors.  Nice poem.

I'm sure most people can relate to this! I know I can! Very good, Corazon!

Corazon,
I can relate to this, particularly "I know this isn't it." Keep searching for the prize and have fun on the hunt.
Be well
