The days are lonely
The nights are bleak
My heart is broken
My spirits weak

When I needed you most
You've chosen to flee
I call out for help
No one answers me

Your smile is gone
With arms stiff as lead
Your body lies buried
You're still in my head

Many months have gone by
The years almost over
It happened in March
And now it's October

I really need someplace
To run and hide
My world spun out of control
The day they said you died.

~In Memory of Josh Erwin - Died March 21, 2000~ ... ~Still missing you, wherever you are...~

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

Broken_Winged_Angel,
this is poignant piece. I especially related to
Your body lies buried
You're still in my head
Be well

I find this poem very poignant. So much feelings, I have my arms around you. Cheers

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

So sorry you lost someone like this. I was relating as I just lost the love of my life, but not through death, through his choice.
Take care.

BWA~

*hugs* to you. my heart goes out to you in this. this is so heartbreakingly sad...i am so sorry for your loss. i am at a loss of words when it comes to death for it is so permanent. but from a person who knows a bit about this kind of loss...here's just a little friendly advice (if that's what ya wanna call it) cherish the good times and don't let the sadness and pain make the happiness and good memories dissapear. in time you will smile again. i promise. take care till then and be strong.

take care.

To All:  There's others directed towards Josh in the Corner Pub... "March Showers" and "Memories".  He was a very close friend.

Kethry - Thankyou.  Those two lines still ring very true for others I've lost.

Irish Rose - Thankyou.

Daniel J D - I'm returning the hug...   Thankyou very much.

Dakota - That's what I was trying to say all weekend to a friend who was contemplating suicide.     Thankyou for putting it so clearly.

Catalinamoon - Then I wish you luck in love in the future...   and thankyou.

Aimster    I'm working on that.. Thankyou.

writing can help don't you think?

I am sure that all the good times and love will continue to surface with the heartache...

thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, BWA.  You have a *hug* from me, too.
Very touching piece.
