So many times
I want my lips
Close to yours
I want my eyes
Close to yours

I deny myself
The sweet drinks
The immediacy
Of first-hand
Knowledge

And let my
Fingers dance
Let your eyes
In mine
Guide them
Let your breath
On mine
Tell me

Let them
Tango
Tangle
In the curly

Let them
Waltz
Synchronized
Swimming
In pools of desire

Till your fingers
Embrace them
As they emulate
Us
On loves dance floor
Winning
The jitterbugging prize
I love your eyes

~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning.

Bill... Not sure what to say... I'll go for "sweet..."

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

Wilfred, I would go for "wow". I think if I met anyone who add would something like this as a prelude to "I love your eyes"... well I might just ask him to pick out curtains and labradors

I deny myself
The sweet drinks
The immediacy
Of first-hand
Knowledge

Let them
Tango
Tangle
In the curly

...I am a puddle in my chair. Cheers, to this gorgeous waltz of words.

Maybe Ron could put a Juke Box Forum in for the music lovers, this is wonderful, so lyrical. I loved it!
