Across the sky seeped in red,
Lies a golden sun where it has set,
And where the clouds hang almost dead,
Scores with white chalk as passing jet,

Along the horizon meets the sea,
Gentle ripples rippling passed,
Salty spray does bask rocks knee,
Upon the dusty shores I'm here last,

And the moon becomes all to clear,
Iluminating all the stars though black,
A cresent shape hangs agaisnt and leers,
And Shooting star passes, leaving track,

Palm trees sway in midnight breeze,
Wind will whispher and gently whine,
Dusting off sand the wind doth tease,
Will prevail through tide and time.

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

You know, I saw the ocean for the first time last spring and it still leaves me with an awe thinking about it and the sound and the feel of it. I loved this one.

Will prevail through tide and time.

I _love_ this line. The entire piece sent me shivering  with images. Fabulous, Maria.
