When I lay my head down to sleep,
my conscience falls six feet deep,
into a world of dreamland,
as my mind, sinks like quicksand.

Some of my dreams, by day, by night,
are triggered by my happiness
but most of my dreams, are made incite,
of my excruciating stress.

I've dreamed of being a superstar,
making lots and lots of money,
owning two or three different cars,
and traveling to various countries.

I've dreamed of God lifting,
all of this stress, off of my chest,
and ultimately giving
me a life of peace and sucess.

I've dreamed of reaching mountain peaks,
and swimming to the bottom,
of the most deepest seas,
and glowing like leaves in autumn.

I've dreamed of going to heaven
and meeting God and Jesus Christ,
recieving the ultimate blessing,
under a goden ray of light.

In the land of dreams,
my heart will surely follow,
hoping to card and ace or queen,
in hopes of a better tomorrow.

Nate~
excellent piece! dreams are what keep us believing often times. hold onto your dreams for they just might come true. and reach for the stars and never give up. a wise woman once told me...tis only people who give up who never truly succeed. take care.

Wow!!! What more is there to say???

Don't wander throught this glassy surface, expecting to find more than me, because what I am without a purpose, but a lone mirage to see.

Nate,
I liked this, life is not a dream (unless you count the fact you sometimes have no control over where it's heading)but it's our dreams that keep us going.
Be well

Nate, my friend~
I think of dreams as the vision
that tomorrow may bring to fruition.

I would wish that some of yours do.
Most certainly they will.
