~We Danced~

a familiar song in ear did ring
but could not find the heart to sing
you held me in your arms so tight
reminding me of what was right

your smell
aphrodisiac
your touch
melting me away

i feel your heartbeat
and everything fades
my head on your shoulder
tears fall like rain

i'll turn away
to hide my pain

i'll never forget this night we danced
and brought back our dead romance

Your words are full emotion.
Don't let it ruin you life
find another song and partner.

Nik,
keep on dancing. Good poem. It for some reason remind's me of the song "smile though your heart is breaking."

Be well

Nikolette,
The Last Waltz, a painful one I see. I offer you my shoulders to rest your sadness, stay as long as you want. I could dance with you for a million of years to see you happy once more.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
