(a repost - from elsewhere - circa 1/99)

Water nymph I'm in your spell
Take me from my living hell
Bathe me in your flowing fountain
     Nestled 'neath a blue-green mountain

Let us dive in the aqua pool
Take me, let me be your fool
Watch me stand ever so tall
As we splash 'neath your waterfall

Let me feel your soft caress
As I hold you in your dress
Of emerald hue it so becomes
I want to speak, my voice just hums

I'll fold you gently in my love
With the softest feathers of a dove
     Safely in my encircling arms
Keep you safe from all alarms

~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning.

I love the line, "I'll fold you gently in my love".... it's really a perfect line. This piece reflects a man's heart who can love very deeply. Thank you for the read.

This is a beautifully, serene piece, as JM described Wilfred. It flows smoothly and leaves me with playful, yet tender visions. A lovely read!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Seraphin-
Such a sweet compliment - thank you so much

Doreen -
I'm a poet- (or like to think I am) Poets are 'artists' I'm told - and 'artists' are passionate - QED (yes I feel deeply - and make no apology) Thank you~S~

I'm not at all sure - that words alone could satisfy a craving -   but that may be subjective   Thank you

Amazing... this describes Nymph lake in RMN (right behind my house). A beautiful little green lake in the midst of the mountains... and the only one in the entire park with lily pads. Thank you for the thoughts of that place (which I swear is enchanted). It makes me want to sneak up unto its edge in the moonlight and wait for a water goddess to appear... a lovely piece, Wilfred.

Man oh man Bill, I'd sure like to say a couple of things to these responses... Awe, I catch 'em later.

I don't know the acronym RMN -(probably just as well) but it sounds like Canada- perhaps Manatoba. - Anyhow - it sounds most beautiful - Thank you

Well now, you know I deeply appreciate the emerald color, and I know you didn't write this for me, but I'm going to pretend you did, as it was lovely...
