Half of my poems are about "her", and the other half tend to be about life in general, or things that have happened to me on a given day. Since I have only posted ones about "her" so far, I am posing this for a change. This would fit under the "life in general" category, i think.

Are you OK down there?
down this well
at last,
someone to help me out

They pull me up
and now i'm happy
but then they pat me on the back
and walk on

Of course,
i fall right back down again

Interesing piece

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

yes.. The meaning is, basically that people can be friendly, without necessarily being "a friend", and when you are unprepared for that, it can be disconcerting, even painful.
