a presence
seeming,
eyes that stare,
a feeling something
else is there...
the simple spark
of soft aware...
a ghost of hand,
ghost of care...
simply
every
every thing
a gift
a voice
a rhyme that sings...
a flutter of
a thing with wings--
a Presence--
once, where
none was there.

Serenity, what is your subject! I have many guesses, all very fitting. Reminds me of when I was just past being a child and left alone in our large, old farmhouse  . Nice job.

Serenity~
This is so beautiful, a lovely reminder of my nan's presence the night of her funeral, I was alone and thinking of her when I felt her hand on mine...sounds weird I know but it did happen.
Thanks for the remembrance

Ec--I thank you much...
and tracie, I thank you much as well.

Was going to tell ya'll what I had intended, but...I think I'll leave it for each person to interpret the Presence for themselves...smiles, hugs, and thanks

What a wonderful style you have Serenity. This flowed so perfectly ... just loved it! And yes, keep us guessing on the "Presence", it can mean so many different things to each different reader, well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

I not only enjoyed your poem, but I really enjoyed your replies!! I agree with you...that the subject can be interpreted individually!!  Yes.....that's what I love about all of your work.....there's a certain freedom that gives the reader a personal view.
You have a fantastic style, my friend!!

sighs all over the page. Soft and gentle
