Hello Passions, I am very sorry for what happened yesterday....I hope I can win y'll back today...if not, I'll probaly have to pack my bags and leave...sike..ha,ha! Anyways, I've posted something more tasteful and most importantly, a positve message for the kids. I was so into posting my poem that I didn't give it a second thought about it's content or the backlash I would recieve and once again, I'm sorry for my irresponsibility..damn, that's a long word! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!

Believe me,
when I casually,
tell you that I don't smoke
because, it ain't a joke.
I never gave in,
to the pressures,
or the pleasures,
of getting high,
I've never cared,
or wondered why,
people got high
because, compared to a smoker,
I save more money,
which is more food, for my tummy
plus, I'm more healthy.
I don't care,
if society, views me as a square!
My motto is: Smoking cause you think it's cool,
only makes you a fool!
I've always been an outcast,
that seperated myself, from the mass
as it's my commodity,
to be an oddity,
and it's destiny,
to just be me.

Alright Nate your back in town with a good message...
Smoke, smoke, smoke that cigarette.
Smoke, smoke til you smoke yourself to death.
See St. Peter at the golden gate
you say sorry you'll have to wait.
I just gotta have another cigarette..
A very old song and smoking can be very addictive and I thank God that I am not...James

I wanna thank the three poets who took the time and energy to post...it really means a lot to me especially after what happened during my last post....once again, I wanna thank you three very much because I kinda of figured that Passions would be upset at me...especially the moderators.

Thank you Vicky for your wonderful post,
Thank you Doreen, for your that entertaining and funny post...my poem was called Sexual Alternative and it was about me masterbating and if you wanna read my poem, it might be in the adult forum... I'm not sure if it's there but that's what a lot of people were saying where it belonged.

I like this. It's rather good. It has a good point and you made me smile. I am addicted to writing and music, and that's about it.

Hello Nate, good message this

A side note about your other poem that caused a stir. In my humble opinion,
I have read many poems (by several poets) in Open that, taking this forum to be what they
say "Family oriented", belonged in the Adult
Forum. I realize what I would allow
my 10 year old to read may vastly differ from
parent to parent.

But like I said, it's my opinion (and not
meant to cause discord)

Hey chanson, you are certainly right about that...I've also read some poems that belonged to the adult section plus, I read a poem that had a curse word in it but yet it was allowed on the board...now I know that my poem shouldn't have been on there but those adult-oriented poem and that one with the curse word should have been on there too...but what can I say...I guess some poets get special priviledges or something. Thanks again for pointing that out and thanks for your post.
Peace,

Nathan
