Transfixed upon his words
that so magically draw me into
his world, magnically drawn in
transcending as a dove my mind begins
to take flight far beyond the reaches
of the worlds I shall never know
but by the beauty of his words I take flight
far beyond the rainbowed skies, such colors that radiate my heart and make it come alive with
a new meaning to the rhythm of my mind,
I acquire to become part of the words
that flow so easily upon the page
as a gentle rain taps against the rooftop
I hear the softness of each word tap upon
my soul.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
and beauty is also in the eye of his words

Wonderful weave of wonders and promise can always be spoken when placed in the mouths of the heart.  Loved it.

thank you Mark, sometimes words are so hard to express, I wanted to transcend it into heaven and beyond to make the words come to life, I'm glad you liked it.

RoseBud~
This is lovely.
I enjoyed this -

'as a gentle rain taps against the rooftop
I hear the softness of each word tap upon
my soul.'

A lovely thought.

thanks Marge and Janet Marie, there's something about words especially from the heart that tend to draw us in.

thank you so much coco sometimes poetry seems to take you far beyond your grasp of understanding and that's where I was within this poem taking flight with the dove far beyond the rainbows, such beauty is in the words when they come together, thank you so much for you sweet reply
