autumn leaves fall soft
he remembers the summer
September's song plays

the sun sets sooner
the summer a memory
October's song fades

a chill fills the air
the memories break his heart
November's song heard

December awaits
clouds hang heavy and low soon
life shall be renewed.

Loved your haikus---smile...like reading them better than writing them.  But loved your theme, Sven.  Well done.

I've made a mental note - never to bypass "Sven" again - it has been an enormous mistake - glad I didn't this time. Well done!
