You walked
I stared wondering
Was not the time
My heart still thumping

The tears I allowed in vain
Hid not my pain
Years we cared for each other
Vanished in just moments

Shaking, despairing
I call on you
For a moment, remember!
I was always there for you

Now I sit and wonder
Where we really parted
The dreams went no further
If you would only return into my arms
Then into yours, I would give to you
As I always did, the comfort
The love you so treasure and need

It hurts to lose a love and when there are unanswered questions it makes it all that much more painful.  Penned wonderfully.

Mark,
Your words are very comforting. There are many questions that need answers. But the question of a lost love is more than often never answered.

JD~

Sad to lose love in any way -

'For a moment, remember!'

I hope I always have the memories to treasure.

Butterflies,
Life, is learned by such tragic events. Coping is the hardest challenge.

Irish Rose,
Days are of empty feelings, nights are just another branch on the tree of hope.

Marge,
You are such a sweet person. Love you.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)
