The beast endures in silent rage
what binds him to the host .
Combined his torments form a cage
within foul portents roast ,
o'er fires of intense belief
that yet may come the day ,
when bond shall burst and grant relief
in flames of judgement day .
On pillars of un-just treatment
to raise a funeral pyre ,
ignited full a blaze to vent
on those who've drawn his ire ,
Until in molten purity
all wrongs are cleansed away ,
and beast and host together coast
beyond where danger lay .

Hmmm.... pondering this one... excellent writing... but searching for the all that is there.  Thinking along the lines of God and the Devil, final conflict, belief systems...
Hmmm... food for thought and very taesty at that.
