You whisper to me through
   the lines of your poetry
Soft and sensuous, full of
the love we so want to share
I can hear you speak the lines,
I can see your face as you do
And I want, oh I want so
badly to come there to you
To walk the sand beaches
and lie in the soft meadow grass
To taste the sea spray on your lips
and see the clouds reflect in your eyes
You whisper to me, in every line you write
Telling me all the things we will do
All the love we will share
If only we can make it happen
If only the day will come
when all the obstacles are surpassed
And the only thing between us
is the very air we breath
You whisper to me.

Dedicated to the sweetest man I know

Paula,
Though I read many poems here, I comment on less. I don't like to comment unless I honestly understand a poem. Often a poem is good and I simply don't get it. This is a wonderful poem that even a snook like "The Stranger" can understand. This one is deserving of a

For you

You breathe my soft voice
Uncontrollably with no choice
As tingles travel down your spine
Your heart beats to mine

Faster when our lips touch together
A voice of love soft as a feather
Tickling your ears so sweetly
A body language talking deeply

Shhhhhh!!!

Love your poem

Hi Paula,

That everyone could hear those whispers, my friend.     Hi there...long time, no see.  I'm glad to know that you're still writing.  The mages in this poem are so lovely...just so nice.
Paula, please e-mail sometime.  I'd love to hear from you, dear friend.  I've missed you.
