I think I knew you and knew you well.
You had a kind heart, that I could tell.

You weren't a controlling person, yet needed to be in control.
Took hold of my heart and captured my soul.

She was an astrologist with a degree.
Consulted the charts, let you know when you could be happy.

You tell me you're happy, but what you convey to me.
Is a lonely heart struggling to find your own destiny.

For every story you ever shared with me.
Revealed your dreams, values, lifes' key.

I hit you with truths you weren't ready for.
Scared you so badly, you ran through the door.

But I want you to know this my dear,
If in time you need me, I will yet be here.

Though she's known you longer, I seek comfort in knowing you more.
So when you are ready, I'll be waiting here at my door.

To talk, to listen, we've stories to tell.
We've both been through our own personal hell.

Although she is judgemental and tough as can be.
You'll find me forgiving and loving you unconditionally.
