Once again great promises are heard
Who's best to run our country?
While control by one who keeps his word
goes unheard.  How can it be?

We discuss, read, watch and hear
weighing pros and cons of each
While beckoned by truth so pure
yet chose to stay out of reach

Each and all are deeply affected
by the decision we make.
By one, we'll always be protected.
Why wait until it's too late?

We can elect who'll control
beyond the economy
The creator of our soul
is best for you and me.

Each has the freedom to decide
our will or His to trust.
When His will, we elect to guide,
He'll surely deliver us.

I for one am hoping and praying that this new President will be a heck of a lot better than the last one...

Mom, what a surprise! Only one in control is just what we need.
I know it's always in Good hands with God.

And hey Susan, it's GORE!   LOL

I think the point here is that no matter who wins, as long as God is in charge of our lives, we'll win. Very good poem.
