I want to compare
and tell you I'm there
Anna doesn't have a clue
About the likes of me or you
Serious and strict editing
Ha!  I laugh out loud
If only it were possible
To repiece what you've done now!
By that I mean my head does spin
A thousand times to write it down
But you finally figured out how to begin

People perched in perfect houses
Wifes and husbands percect spouses
Blech!
June and Ward only had those things
All I've got are stupid silly ramblings
Of nothing and all that I can recall
My life and its ways downs and dismays
And I tell you its true
That I am flesh and bone
living off of semi-conducting silicon
But I'm a liar and admittedly so
Scared confused oh leave me just go

I look around me and am I the only one
Whos got his act in shambles
Am I really the only one!?
I can't compare myself to anything at all
I'm lonely and I'm boring and
I'm stuck upon the wall
Car insurance, late rent, late bills
overdue for inspection
I'm definately void of thrills
my tap tap tapping is gone with the wind
You can be sure I won't be caught up in that again
This whole thing, my life, my love, my sorrow,
my strife, my woe, I have no
inclination for tomorrow

Oh eve in disguise, though yours was much better
These are not lies, just a return for your letter
Wanted to tell you my heart felt for you
And I guess there's always someone
on the other side of you
Through whatever religion you cast
I felt that we ate from the same apple
of past.

This was a good thought compared to Doreen's.   I enjoyed this one also.

An interesting poem, well written and fitting tribute to Doreen who has tempted us all with the sweet apple that it her poetry.

"an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree
the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women".
