Thinking About The Passing Of Time

I’m pondering the passing of time,
a novel idea I know.
When one grows to an age of understand
that time does come to an end,
it’s time to wonder
if you have spent yours it well.

This invisible taking away of life, time
becomes so very clear
and tangible to the naked eye when
the past lays out for
you to peer back on realizing just
how far you have come.

Who of you can admit that as your age
climbs that number table
you wish things could of been a little
different, a little easier,
calmer, maybe longer. I admit if I could
“only” but it was all a matter
of timing and unforeseen occurrences.

It’s amazing, I at this moment watching
the clock on the wall,
cheap as it is and man made at that, can
make such a commotion
in our lives. Yet try to live with out the darn
device and see were it gets you!

I am hoping that in the after life time
is only but a memory,
for the here and now is gauged  on nothing
but time. Funny thing
what can come to mind if you have the time.

Cerenity, life and time go by quickly, its up to us to use them both wisely. You have made me wonder if I have done that and what I can do better. Thanks.

You know, I have no clocks and calendars!
I only count on one thing, the next day!
No, seriously, this was very insightful, and I am glad I didn't miss it!

Cerenity~
The ticking and tocking is maddening at times.

Wonderful thoughts to ponder.
