I have a world that I visit often.
A world of my own creation.
Peaceful nights under the stars,
and birds sing upon awaking.
There is a brook that flows nearby,
with huge rocks scattered around.
Wild flowers grow abundantly,
and nature's voices found.
In my world I'm happy.
Never a tear is shed.
My soul is satiated and I'm complete,
for the time being, fully fed.
When I'm there I wade the brook,
wild flowers tucked in my hair.
I sing my songs to the beat of nature,
And I have not a care.
So when I'm feeling out of sorts,
and reality clutters my mind.
I go to my world and forget all,
leaving this world far behind.
Only there can I let go,
becoming content for a little while.
In a world that is my haven,
I'm engulfed in nature's smiles.
And so I dance upon the rocks,
Enchanted by my world.
Though I know that I can't stay,
I return home, a different girl!

If you can't make it so,
you need to let it go!

I know this feeling, I have a place to, it's poetry, my sanctuary. This is very special. I enjoyed this.

Irish Rose..Poetry is My FIRST escape, and
this little world I created is when I can't get my words down the way I want. I seem to rejuvenate when I'm in 'my world'.. ;-)
