Where Stars Cry Out

With a draw of breath,
I find myself absent of light.
Again, descending to the place
where tides lay in curls --
of white silk upon the southern shore.

Where stars cry out for the pleasure
of someone's eyes to peer solemnly
at their luster.
And where I can touch your spirit,
alone and undisturbed --
the only place we can call our own.

Where my heart can cry --
and then be happy again, at once in need
and then again to overflowing.
Where I can go to seize the worth of
being a man and touch upon your grace,
each kiss another assurance --
ever me, ever you, ever us.

RJ~
A romantic write that is softly and gently rendered.

This talented piece drew me to your web pages,
where many lovely thoughts are to be seen
in a unique perspective.

I greatly enjoyed and will return to read some more.

Welcome to the greatest family of passionate poets on the Internet.

Welcome to Passions and what an entrance.. Very well written.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

Well, first-off, welcome to netpoets...
I can truthfuly say, that with an opening
such as this, many here will embrace your
work with much delight.
About the poem specifically, I must say, it
almost seems to carry on it's own voice...
I can hear it, more than see it...
Wonderful work.

My eyes began to water as I read this poem, I had to hold back the tears from flowing, like star droplets from diamond eyes. This poem painted the scenerary for me, one of dark blue and white milky points in the heaven. Where 2 embrace and in a moment eternity is found, eternity in a moment, oh so profound.
