Cowboy Up

Ok, so I’m impressed,
Your style is really great.
But seven seconds is enough
You don’t have to try for eight.
You don’t need to catch my eye
With deeds of bravery and courage,
I’m already looking your way now,
don’t go getting that bull in a rage.
Just stand up, dust yourself off,
Look up and smile my way.
Just to see you in one piece
Will really make my day.
please don’t think
I don’t see you
Or notice all
that you do
just walk on over,
stop and say hello
you never know
what I’ll do.
*
Yeah, I know doesn't look like much of a bootprint now, (It did when I wrote it!) and the spur sorta shrunk.

Thanks Sea, I think I'm still on a high from our rodeo a couple of weeks ago.

The so called eight second ride
Is one that must always be rode
To show that darn stubborn bull just
Who has written the cowboy's code.
Surely you have looked to see
The ways of a cowboy in his life
The will to be all that he can be
Evading horns that pierce like a knife
Thanks for noticing me in the crowd
I will greet you each and every time
I will not put my head up in a cloud
I tip my hat to you in this little rhyme

Wonderful entry and it looks like a boot print to me my friend.  No such thing as a late entry!!!!!  Well done.

Now, be honest, did you have your riding outfit on when you wrote this. I really enjoyed this one!

Dee, I think this is great, a very good bootprint too! Now if i were braver I'd give it a go, but my graphics are not even in the same league. (A bit like Gillingham playing against Manchester United, a very uneven match)
