Sweet Remember

Honey’s cup of sweet remember
Holds the nectar’s kiss of splendor
Never more to be surrendered
Memories of golden days

Autumn fruit of mid September
Plucked from laden vine would render
Pure ingenuously tender
Flush of pink like vin rose

Sip the cup of sweet remember
Breath ambrosial balm of splendor
Yesterday’s soft glowing ember
Long to ever fade away
