belief...
it's all i know
i've always been a believer
for as long as i can remember
believing in all
that is good
and true

you were once
a believer as well...
what caused you to learn
such doubt

perhaps your heart
knows all too well
the pain and regret
that so often accompanies
belief

my heart too
has been whittled away
by the blade of
disappointment
yet i will continue
as i pray you will
to believe...

for far more devestating
than the blade of
belief
is the deadly
sword of
doubt

Vlraynes-There is a painful truth in what you say and you said it very well.  I liked.

Yes the truth is in believing. But the reality is that so many know neither truth or belief.
Superb work, loved every word.

Vicky-This is so powerful and so full of truth in it's message.  The lines above pretty much say it all but the ones you preceded them with are just as powerful.  Excellent write my friend.  Loved this one and I feel so positive now after reading it.

You know, belief is so much a part of going through life with a smile that I just had to bring this beauty back up.  Such a wonderful write and I too hold on to many beliefs and many of my dreams that WILL someday come true.
