Held Captive By Your Words Dear poet, I am mesmerized, Enriched by visions through your eyes; I slip into hypnotic gaze, Bewitched by words upon the page. Held captive by your woven threads, As line by line, my mind descends; Arrested by the beauty there, Reality, left unaware. A slow and gentle rhythmic dance, Belies the senses, here entranced; Enthralled by wonders of the world I've drifted to, as sights unfurl. With fluid motion, I digress, As thoughts entwine, beliefs transgress; Enchanted through illusions penned, Dimensions spiral ... mind transcends. Beautiful tribute and so well deserved as well. You have chosen to recognize one of the best and in doing so you have obtained a higher level yourself. I have enjoyed watching you grow in your poetry and each one just gets better and better and when you can pen one for another that has reached you then you yourself have reached that one as well in return. Superb.....could you tell I found it to my liking? BTW....why is Karilea hiding under the desk like that? |
