Listening to every heart

She Sang

He stroked absolute the right emotion
and thereafter dwelt in her such commotion
that no longer the throbbing of the ocean
could match her outpour of devotion

and she sang

O profound was the reverberation
meet it, did she, with quickened celebration
had you taken heed, heard the ring, cause for ovation
as it stood in time with the ultimate creation

when she sang

neā€™ermore then, shall passion dwell
in quietness, when thereby the swell
shall increase as if with harmonious bell
and chime forth, their love to tell

as she sang.

Never a poet she says!!!!!  Yeah yeah yeah.....a poet and a romantic at the same time.  So this is how the mermaids came to pass is it....them with their sirene's song lifted into the wind that causes even the best of men to fall prey to their taunting.  HMMMMM...so how do you know so much of this song you sing?

Karilea, I don't know how to even properly express how beautiful I think this is. It's left me stunned. So well done my friend, so very well done.

Well, WOW.  And did anyone of you realize that I was going to junk this one? [Although I just really put them in a pile "over there" and wait for some real inspiration to rise...]

So thank you, everyone...I truly thought this would have very little reply...

Karilea, how many times must you be told girl stop slinking off to the back. This is a great poem, so sweeten those tonsils of yours and start belting out this song.

Really love this one, admittedly not very ladylike to belt out anything, but who cares.

Sunshine my dear,

Don't ever think what is said from your heart belongs in piles never to be seen, you are trully gifted friend and this piece is such beauty that would of been trully missed if it landed in some pile some were. Loved the poetry.

Love, Cerenity

Cerenity, my dear, thank you for not minding my "catching up" with folks who responded, but I was not able to catch before this sunk into the netherland of lost poetry...everyone should ALWAYS be replied too...

and again, I am so glad you understand!

And your comments fill my heart!  Thank you!
