When does the pain go away?
When does the starved body celebrate the food at its place?
When does the dead man lift his eyes and see a life to share?
When does living for love not require so much wear?
When does a song not break into notes but stay full and whole?
When does a remembered kiss start healing a soul?
When does the sun break the day and rebuild?
When will the fear, suffering, silence and anger be stilled?

For everything we willed,
we still ended up killed.
For everything we loved,
we still look for answers up above.

Please let the pain fade like painted light,
to the evening filling up the pane.

I don't know when the answers will come but hopefully you will find them soon. Then share them with us.

Here ya go, a movie quote for you:

Steve Martin, as Jonas Nightingale, from the movie, "Leap Of Faith"--in answer to the question, "When's it gonna rain?"  The reply?
"When's it gonna STOP?"    Enjoyed this one...as ya know, I have a peculiar love of angst...smiles...will e ya soon, much sorry.

S'en,
That poem wasn't angst. What's angst is we keep dropping the ball on e-mail!
