Jack And Jill-O-Lantern
~*Marge Tindal*~

There was a little punkin'
growing in a patch.
Along came Farmer Lantern,
and a scheme was hatched.

Farmer Lantern loved the punkin'
and wanted to see
just how pretty
his little punkin' could be.

He took her home,
lovingly carved her face,
put a candle in her
and put her in place.

The little goblins came
on Halloween night.
The punkin' showed a smile
from the candle burning bright.

Farmer Lantern named his punkin'
and he called her Jill.
She sat forever and ever
on his window sill.

She started to get lonely,
wanting the little goblins to come back.
So Farmer Lantern carved another punkin'
and he named him Jack.

So happy Jack-O-Lantern
and sweet Jill-O-Lantern too,
lived with Farmer Lantern
Boooo ! Boooo ! Boooo !
