Vaya Con Dios
~*Marge Tindal*~

In a courtyard cafe
on the east side of town
I danced with abandon
as the sun went down

The music softly played
a guitar serenade
long before the night
had yet begun to fade

Lost in sweet abandon
in eyes of ebony
the music played in serenade
bringing him closer to me

One red rose he offered
placing it in my hair
we danced as if
there was magic in the air

Just before the dawning
he kissed me tenderly
Vaya Con Dios, my darling
he left his heart with me

I swear I'd died
and gone to Heaven
no rapture was more complete
Vaya Con Dios, my darling
he swept me off my feet

Surely on the morrow
with awakened need
I'll swear that he was there
in more than just my dream

Vaya Con Dios, my darling
May God tend you in His care

Oh Marge, Marge, Marge. Yep this is quiet the little poem you've penned here. You took me right there with you. And though it was indeed wonderful seeing you all swept away, I have a question. Does he have a brother by any chance? LOL...Girl this is great.

Marge-This was awesome.  You rock.  I think I will go south of the border see if I can bring back a Latin lover, better yet I think maybe I will just stick with some Mescal con gunsano, only kidding!  Never could understand how anyone could drink a tequilla with a worm in it.  They say it increases potency, maybe it would give me a dream or two like yours, but I could never capture it as well as you did.

Wow Marge you've conjured up some vivid imagery on this piece! This piece has a western feel to it or something to me and it's just excellent and very entertaining! This piece just illustrates your beautiful talents!
Peace!
