Truth holds true
in the eyes of the blind
Join my taking
hold of your soul
As you feast upon mine
Solitude caresses my mind
Spin the memories
round and round
Release my salvation
upon the world
Find a friend in
ones who loved but love no more
Unlease the beast of burden
Come back to me freedom
Love lost  and gained
all at once
I feel you
deep inside me
The pain eats me
from the inside out
I feel everything now
You rub my head in it
As I smother
slowly
Let me free so that
I can be one again
Loosen your grip
I watch you fall to the ground
Reality is not far from your reach
Hold on to that and less on me
Try to take me down too?
Who do you think you are?
Who knows what I have caused with all this?
Never say that I didn't try
For if I die before I wake
I pray for heavens sake
that you remember
I Always Loved You..

Love,
Ladycat

A one sided love is never easy to deal with.  The pain in this shows through vividly through your masterful penning.

Lady this is a bittersweet piece.

Never say that I didn't try
For if I die before I wake
I pray for heavens sake
that you remember
I Always Loved You..

The pain we go through for love. You've written with much expression!

You've penned some pretty powerful emotions here LadyCat.
I can relate to them 100%, sad to say.
I do not believe I've read your work before, but I'm glad I found this one.
Welcome back to the Passions family!

But if I don't cling so tightly, I might keel over, and drop my coffee, and set the carpet on fire with my smoldering cigarette, and knock over that cute little spindle table with the bric-a-brac of a kilted sheep on it, causing much hullabalooing, not to mention a physical bruhaha....

J/K Ladycat...this one echoed deep within my soul, stirring long banked embers. Beautiful, yet sad. I do hope things are better on your side of the State.

Ladycat,
this piece kept me going to the end because of it's flow, but the pain was evident. It touched me.
Be well

Powerful! I don't see enough of your work. Wish you would post more often, but I have come to understand time restraints.   Did I ever say I'm glad you're back?

Great ending!  Sad, but excellent read!  Welcome back!
