Cry Wolf !
~*Marge Tindal*~

Cry wolf in time to save
this creature of the wild
Nature treats him cruelly
like a long-lost child
Keeper of the night
stealthful watch he tends
the campfires of many
a legend of friends
Quietly on the perimeter
he marks his trail akin
I'd know this gentle guardian
were we to meet again
For I have gazed into his eyes
and seen the spirits of the past
Weeping for the creature begotten
this magnificent animal that will not last
Unless we heed the steady beating of his heart
Cry wolf before it is too late
and this gentle creature does depart

Oh Marge ... my heart just tugs at this topic. I could cry rivers at what has happened to so many of the wonderful creatures who roam this earth (and could kick man in the you-know-what if I thought it would do any good). Thank you for bringing this handsome creature's plight to the forefront. Beautifully written with strength and genuine, heartfelt sincerity.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Marge-

I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!

This is a subject very close to my heart.
Not only concerning wolves, but the
treatment and preservation of ALL
animals.  This really touched me,
and I can only hope it will touch
others as well.  Wonderful reminder
of how God's creatures are often
neglected and mistreated.
Thank you so much for this.

Love you,
    -vicky

Marge my friend, I could hug and kiss you all over for this one.  It is such a shame that the animals of this world are for so many of them coming close to extinction and so many already have.  This is a subject close to my heart and I belong to two organizations for protection of wildlife.  If you would like more info then please let me know.  Ohhhhh sorry, the poem was lovely in both content and flow....but you already knew that didn't you.LOL....didn't mean to ramble.

Charisma~
You do me a great honor ...
I would be proud to have you place this
on your web site.
The plight of the wolves is of such urgency
that all the help we can get is muchly appreciated.

Thank you, my friend !
Do you need it in a word pad format
or can you take it from here ?
Let me know.
(I'd love to see the image you tried
to put on your reply. Can you send it to me?)

Marge,

its my pleasure that I may use your poem to send the message into the world, I haven't a heavy voice, but all the little things will help, and I will send you the image that I tried to place.....and I will take the words from here if you don't mind....I let you know when I have finished it.

In my library my friend.  I have been thinking of this poem for two days now and that tells me that it belongs in my library for sure....hmmmmm what do you think? Should it grace the walls of my room?

Awareness of the limited time left for nature's unfortunate seem to be waning.
Marge this is a wonderful contribution to the plight of the many beautiful and endangered species. Your talents are immeasurable.

Marge~

You have hit a subject very near and dear to me my friend.  I have always been in awe of the beauty and power of the wolf which inspired me to learn more about them.  I, too, feel that they are grossly misunderstood and given a bad image by those who are out to extinct them.  We must teach the future generations to respect them nad protect them instead of hunting them to extinction.

Wonderful write here my friend.  I LOVE THIS!!!!
