Is it possible for a love to be only a possession?
Is it possible to love beyond comprehension?

And can a love seem to be
Beyond words, beyond reality?

I don't know sometimes if I can spend another wakeful minute.
Of a day in my life without you in it.

I honor your request for me to stay away.
So I hold you respectfully at bay.

Do you feel safe when you're away from me?
I feel safe in knowing you're still in my memory.

You do what's best for you in wanting to be free.
All I know is the pain in my heart for having let you go is killing me.

hey Gemini, I really loved this, the last two lines really hit me. Great poem

"If my words could blanket the skies
and fill every corner and crevice of
this earth, still this won't be enough"

A sad but beautiful poem.

Gemini....
You show strength in this poem, and you also show us what love means, as letting go is the greatest love of all....
           Beautiful job, my friend...

*sigh* ... more mirrors ...
yes....it is possible ...
and yes..it hurts this much...
but sometimes things are just too intense
to not take the risk for ...
and sometimes letting go ..is the only way to show them how we really feel ...
another emotionally well expressed poem Gem,
felt your words..your ache.
take care

As we must do later with our children - we must give roots and wings - let go - if they return it is meant to be.  I've known this pain - trust and pray -
you've expressed yourself beautifully

Gemini, expressed so wonderfully, and if it's meant to be then it will be. Still it's very hard to live through, I know, but you will.
Take care
