I felt lousy today
i was inadequate to
cope with this state of mind
A prey entrapped
within a vulnerable self

In desperate need to seek an outlet,
A catalyst that would allow
all such bitterness to gush out,
I turned to my trusty pen and pad

Writing is a form of catharsis,
or so they say
But how do you write
when you feel so frail
that you cant hold your pen?
When your feelings swirl vigorously
to torment,leaving
behind a lifeless ragdoll
When all you want to do
is to hide and seek refuge
rather than face the pathetic you?

i couldnt bear to write
i didnt manage to find solace
I still feel lousy

Ouch...sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, Kaile. Hope things get better. Very expressive poem. I really felt that I could relate.

Yes please attempt again at penning your agony.  Your quill is so wonderful anyway, can you imagine the amazing piece that would flow when let out into the openness of freedom?

Wow! I think you just wrote what every single poet in this forum has felt at one time or another, and some of us for days at a time!!  I know, in my case, all I can do is just keep doin' it, and all of a sudden it breaks free. Write to us, kaile.....we'll listen!

Kaile, what happened? Why were you feeling lousy? You could've called one of your friends to talk about it. It's better than bottling it up and you couldn't even bring yourself to write about it! That is bad!
