Airborne

Bound for home,
I close my eyes -
your face etched
on the back of my lids,
like imprint of rooftop
in the memory
of a birder's pigeon -
your touch
as deep as glacier tracks -
your fragrance
as fresh as a babe's first laugh -
your whisper
as full of meaning
as the words
your eyes impart.

Skywriter

Dreamt of
a skywriter
he
flew a path
intrinsic,
deep in flight
the Cumulimbus
gave rise
to T-Storms
electric,
with hushed words
directions relayed,
prayed he’d find
home.

As full of meaning, the words your eyes impart...
Corinne this is a very poetic play of words. Love the way it flows.

Two for the price of one... and both equally as well done... Have I mentioned that I like your work?... I think I might have...
