Come Sigh With Me False stars careen and stream the sky I sigh and in prison lie Dream and scheme, sail in seem and Silently whisper blaspheme. She comes to me in supple coup Ghostly touch and soft subdue. A life time in a moment spent A moment of shear content. Wreathing me with her arms display Without the slightest delay To lie beneath my every thought But physically comes to nought. The wick fuels in my time of life It trims each day like a knife. And my blood flows in misty red Clouds all thoughts within my head. Irony humors bitter fate A harbor without placate. |
