For a while the colour,
Seemed to drain away,
And her world turned,
To black and white,

The only tones she saw,
Was of the grey,
And while the textures,
Faded in a texturless world,

Yet one day the colours,
Seeped back into her world,
And she carried on,
Like she did before,

And as quickly as they faded,
They dissappered again,
Now she seeks the colours once more.

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

Maria, this is lovely. What would our world be without the color of life?

Maria,
this sounds a little depressed,
"And her world turned,
To black and white,

The only tones she saw,
Was of the grey,
And while the textures,
Faded in a texturless world,"

great expressions hope that she will find the colours soon.
Hugs...Charisma

and perhaps the lesson to be learned is ...
the old cliche'...dont know what ya got till its gone ...
bittersweet poem of chance ...
well written ...well expressed
take care

The vicious cycle--good work, Maria.
