A Kiss before Dying

Waken “Child of Darkness” from the point of no return
A soulless creature in Hell you forever burn
Skin transparent pale winter white
Seeks victims unsuspecting in the black of night
Footprint soft and silent, never will they hear
Powers from the crypt, it is you that they fear
Warm flow of blood, thirst too lust
Powerless to fight, relax in your touch
Pounce the tiger with fangs of death
Useless struggles to draw one last breath
Feeds upon mortals forever stay alive
Thrill of the kill in this you thrive
Offer the gift, or to let die
Life’s red blood wine drunk till dry
The master at work chills to the bone
In misery’s moon never walk alone
Creatures of darkness softly sighing
Forever offer a last kiss before dying

It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen

Marina~
I love this, dear!  And just at the right time of year, too!  You know, Lestat and Armand and Pandora and David have been some of my most favorite fictional characters of all times.  Tales of the vampires always seem to lift my spirit, in a funny way.  I guess I just like all things supernatural, dear!

Thank you!

Love Ya~

I'm sure that you can find plenty of people to fill that line. . .

What a great way to describe a vampire. Very spooky, Marina--but I think I'll pass on the kiss offer.

Walking among mortal man
My blood brings on a thirst
My laughs of their fear as they ran
When this nightmare became their worst
Terrified to get away
They end up in my path
I say don't worry it's OK
As I devour them in a bloodbath

Great poem Marina ~

I think you should bring them all up in one compilation. So we can get a good bite of them all at once.

I can't wait for the witch series....
of course i'll probably have to read them in adult...lol.
