I cannot imagine How my life would be If you were not here To hold and comfort me I was a lonely man Without a hope or prayer Of ever finding true love Until you showed how much you care You give each day a brightness My eyes have never seen The sky is so much more blue And I've never seen the grass so green I can see the brightness of all the stars Without a single look into the sky They flicker and they sparkle Deep within your soft green eyes I try to look back On faded memories But I cannot find them Your face is all I see So, I give to you this promise As you have promised me This love will never waiver I give my heart to thee |
