May the road back to me be clear,
May your steps be quick and strong,
May each moment away,
be a healing moment,
each second,
a healing second,
and each hour,
merely one less in the total count,
till your voice echos with vibrance,
in my ears.

May you feel my love,
my caring,
my concern,
over the miles between us,
without ever feeling
the actual distance.

May you return with speed,
to my open arms,
for you are so loved,
for you are so needed.
And God willing,
may we never be apart
again.

Wonderfull Seraphin.  I loved this poem, I too have a loved one that is far away.  Good luck and may the person you desire return to you soon.

Very beautiful poem.
Someone is lucky to
have you waiting for
them.

Well thank you, both. Now, I've just got to meet them, so they know I am waiting!! That seems to be where I keep getting stuck!!

Seraphin this is a lovely poem, beautifully written and excellantly expressed.
As for not meeting the right one, you never know where you may meet him. Just keep your heart open so that he can walk straight in.
and if I see any likely candidates I'll send them round shall I.
Take care

Waverly, I know them in my mind. They guide my words frequently, from in my dreams. And after all, is that not what a poet is, a dreamer?

Marsha, thank you for the offer! But, if there were someone...what would I have left to dream about?

Mark, you always say the nicest things. I admire your writing so very much, and would gladly accept any suggestions you would have. I am not too thin skinned!
Thank you all.

You don't need any suggestions or tips from me .... trust me.  You shine in your works just fine and trust me when I say to write like I do .... you have to have half a brain and the rest just jumbled up mess so you wouldn't want to be there.LOL  You are one hell of a poet in your own rights and don't go changing "YOUR" style to copy someone else...still loving it.
