On This Enchanted Path

Muted footsteps scarce make sound on sodden forest floor.
Canopy above the ground en-shrouds this corridor.
Filtered rays from setting sun be-lie the time of day.
Set care aside , and matching stride , walk with me away.

Inhale fragrent scented air that flows on zephyr's wings.
Observe the simple balance that exists amoung all things.
In slowly metered harmony circadian rhythms chime .
Let delicate mechanics of organics measure time .

As onward through cathedral glade our steps we do re-trace.
Attuned to nature's nuances reflected by our pace.
Nomadic souls on pilgrimage brief granted state of grace.
On course again at evening time through this enchanted place...

The circuit whose completion now returns us to the start,
sheds that which by deletion makes us once more pure of heart.
