You would know just how much I long for your embrace
It's been just two weeks since we planned to meet
It's amazing to me how fast we got to this place

You vow to bestow your love and let it show
And hold me in your arms forever more
To be here by my side 'til the day that I die
Or until the waves don't reach the shore

You're amazing to me how you trust so freely
When our eyes have never held each other's gaze
The way you make me laugh till all my sorrows pass
And stand beside me through all the lonely days

So I give to you this love that's so true
And promise that it will never die
As I step on this plane I sing love's refrain
Knowing it will only get better with time
