Poets pen . When I write my poetry, My pen must get so sad, I wonder if it feels like me, And feels so very bad, I often stop and think, What if pens have feelings, Exposed there in their jinx ? Is it mean that I should write, And wear out the poor pen’s Ink, The way that life flies by, It’s just the same for me, And I know that in the end, Like it I’ll fade, Into infinity . -Write happily today on national poets day and give your pen a smile- Written by Tom Baker . gosh, such wonderful imagery within this short poem...simply dig the description about "wearing out the pen's ink"  |

Thanks alot the both of you, your most kind . I am glad you can agree with my metaphor of life being like the ink of a pen, but I supose most of the credit for this poem ought to go to the pen as firstly it starting to run out while I was writing another poem gave me the inspiration and secondly the fact that I used up it's ink writing it down .
