Nocturne Opus 1

Eerie whispers wring the trees
Willful winds, flute the leaves.
Just above the rumbling dun
Of the brooks playful run.

And in the movement of grass
Muffles the muted brass.
Flavoring the wordless words
The chorusing of birds.

Sensing lays upon your skin
Sending music within
Flooding harmonies aloud
Clearing mind of its shroud.

If you've felt this opus play
The rondeau of its gay
Rode the medley of uplift
You've touched upon a gift.

You have heard the washing shoal
Echoing in your soul.

Fantastically writ Mr. Tabin.  Positively marvelous!
