You were a friend to us all,
Now you have answered your last call.
God has called you home,
The streets of gold are now yours to roam.

From the day of your birth,
You had a special purpose here on earth.
Friends and family will miss you every day,
As we go about our merry ways.

From Christmas Day in 1892,
You lived to be 102.
I am glad we will meet again someday,
When this old world fades away.

As I look up above,
I know you send down your love.
For your family we will pray,
As we go about day to day.

Poem was written in memory of Aunt Daisy Stambaugh.

What a lovely tribute to your Aunt, Cathy. It is unfathomable the number of hearts she must have touched through her years, and the amount of memories someone of this age will leave behind with her loved ones to cherish ... beautifully written!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Cathy, thank you for sharing this. Having lost family at very young ages, I am envious of those who have family for so many years, sharing all times and remembering the best times...

this is lovely.
