Somewhere... out there...

i wake up in the morning
from my
temporary sleep

where temporary lovers
heated
temporary dreams

then it's off to pass the hours
of my
temporary day

meeting temporary people
on my
temporary way

i'll chat with temporary friends-
flash a
temporary smile

and face my temporary tasks
with
con'temporary' style

i'll place my temporary heart
on
temporary hold

but my temporary happiness
leaves me
temporarily cold

so when i'm temporarily dying
breathing
temporary breaths

you'll see this temporary life
brings a
very permanent death

great poem, kinda dark in its content though.  I liked it though.

Interesting perspective on life.  It is only temporary really.  I like it.

Perhaps a cold slap in the face type reminder that while this life can be enjoyed, it is not the one we should concentrate on ?

I like it, I like it

TLS-
So right you are.  This temporary life is
definitely not the one to be focusing on.
Thanks so much for reading.  Glad you liked.

everything here is temporary...this is a gentle reminder of that..the mortal permanance of death seals the final chapter of our temporary existance..

until one day, we will never have to know temporary again..

good write tricks

Though this life may only be temporary there are many beautiful memories you can make that are PERMANENT...they are out there you just need to put on the rose colored glasses and go in search of them.  Great read and BTW...checked out your home page.  Very nice.

yes we have a temporary life,
and everyone have his own little strive.
you can face it grey, or with sunlight above.
wake up tomorrow with a smile and with love,
cause the power of love can warm your cold heart.
all you have to do, is let it in and make a new start.

hope you will feel better soon
*hugs*

excellent writing even if it is quite dark. glad to know that this was "just one of those days" and not your normal view of your life. in either case, awesome poem you have here.
take care.
