When Sarah Sings

Twirling into twilight
Swirls of synchronicity
Indigo eyes a skylight,
Educing mystery.

Shyness for now withdrawn
Limber in her shadow dance
Nocturnal to arrival of dawn
Spellbound in languid trance.

Preceding the time of maturity
Obstacles adulthood brings,
Shining in perfect purity
All smiles, when Sarah sings.

I could imagine that she sings just like an angel.

Oh, I can see her twirling and singing!  What a perfectly lovely picture!  This is a keeper.  I hope you don't mind if I put it in my favorites file.  I used to have a precious little daughter named Sarah who sang too.

Beautifully written.

Thank you, Park, she does, too!

Rosemary, I think that is one of the nicest things anyone has said, I would be honored.

Thank you, Dark Angel and Fool!

Corrine, you've said it perfectly.  They grow up so quickly and somehow don't sing as much anymore. Fine poem.

This is so tender ... I can hear Sarah's song.

Lovely, hon.
