Barefoot in the rain
Laughing and splashing in pools
Hand in hand with you

Dark clouds overhead
Deep shadows in meadow grass
Trees bowing to storm

Forked lightning cuts sky
Ozone freshens all the air
Warm drops wash our faces

Sun peeks through the clouds
Crowding through all the darkness
Brings sparkles to eyes

Barefoot in the rain
Breathing ozone freshened air
Sparkling-eyed faces

great minds think alike??? LOL
seems we were on the same Haiku wavelength
these age GREAT...you've captured that
feeling of being out in the rain and dancing in the puddles ...the world refreshed by the storm.
well done
take care

Bill--I love a storm, a soft rain, puddle jumping...Your poem makes me wish for just that...I think I'll do Marge's rain dance.

These are among the best strung Haikus I have read.  Wonderfully done sir and not a better poet of Haiku than Janet to be inspired by.  LOVED them all in unison.
