Somewhere in the vast wasteland

0 posted 2000-10-04 05:58 AM

Tingling from head to toe
An explosion of pure delight
Colors swirl in infinite combination
Unlocking heart and soul
Desire released
Passion escaping
Threatening sanity
Loss of control
Hearts as one
Spirit of fire
Melting the two into one
A mind not our own
Belonging to the whole
One wink
Two winks
Left breathless
First kiss

Ok I just thought I would post this last one before bed considering I haven't felt this much inspiration in a long time.  It just feels so good.

Jeffery Carter- You have written some wonderful stuff too.  I am honored that you see this piece as perfection.  I certainly hadn't thought it was.  Thanx.

Charisma- I am glad to see that my experience has helped someone.  I am also happy that you like the poem.

dgvarner- Yes the first kiss is always a little tingly.

It has been many years since that first kiss but she is still the inspiration for most of my poetry like this.

As a side note, I would like to say that I hope this is a tribute to all of those first kisses that reside within our own memories.

Beautiful!!!  That's all I could really think of!!  You obviously have been inspired by something quite beautiful and special to write such touching and heartfelt poetry!!

Victoria-  Sorry I missed you last time, just scatter-brained you know.     Yes she most definitly is a special woman even if her heart no longer belongs to me.

Aimster-  Thank you(blushing alittle).  You are too kind.  I am but a simple man who has had the pleasure of a kiss from a special woman.

Justbleu- Inspiration from the heart.  Thank you.

I am sorry for not responding sooner but I forgot to check the box so that it would send me email when I had a response.

Cerenity- Your first kiss or the poem?

Waverly917- Sorry to have ruined it for you.  Your first kiss should of been someone other than me.

I am glad you all like it.  Short and to the point.

And I too am glad that you posted this.  I just found it on the last page and it is so beautiful just as most first kisses are that I feel it needs to shine some more.

White Wolf,

Very nice writing.  You have described it perfectly.
